Consumer product brands
Physical products sold direct, through marketplaces, and on somebody else's shelf at the same time.
Who this is for
- Brands selling on their own site and on Amazon
- Products with a repeat purchase built into them
- Brands moving from one channel to several
What is different about this one
The same product has a different page on every channel and only one of them is yours, so the description written once has to survive being rewritten three times.
Reviews and ratings do more of the selling than the copy does, which makes the flow that asks for them part of the product rather than an afterthought.
Repeat purchase is where the margin is, so the reorder path and the email behind it matter more than the first visit.
Retail partners want assets in their format on their deadline, and that request arrives with no notice.
